The tile installation was perfect and we love it. The tile is Cadiz Beige from
Italgres California on St. College Blvd just north of Katella.

Our painters from CDS Painting are busy as well. All paint came from Dunn
Edwards. The interior color is Winter Lite, exterior is Canyon View and the
beams and trim are done with Earth's Edge.

Here's Mike Drop and one of his workers digging in preparation for the
hardscape in our atrium.
|
The hardscape consists of colored concrete edged with Arizona Buckskin
flagstone and gives the effect of a wandering pathway to the entry door.
|
The atrium also has a number of various size and shapes for planting
areas.
|
Each planting area is equipped with drains, water pipes and conduit for low
voltage electric lights. The center of the concrete also has a drain.
|
The day they poured the concrete was a very long one for the workers. At times
there were about 15 people just working on the hardscaping, in addition to the
teams of painters, carpenters, etc.
|
They laid stone and poured concrete for the driveway, atrium and "lanai" areas
so it was a very big job. The patterns and color of the concrete seem to go well with the flagstone.
|
Lately it's been really hard to park on our street during the weekdays...hope
none of our neighbors were expecting a lot of company!
|
We think the hardscape is gorgeous and we REALLY appreciate Marvin Crocker for
his gorgeous design and Drop and Sons for implementing the design so
beautifully.
